Making your way through Fuzion Part 1 (map)

The controls for Fuzion: Age of Wordcraft are fairly simple.  Menu navigation is straightforward, and all user input is handled via the touchscreen interface.  There are however, some areas of the game which might seem a little confusing without a little explanation, such as the map interface.  The world map is the starting point for everything you do in Fuzion, and learning to navigate it efficiently will make gameplay more enjoyable.

The map works similarly to Google Maps and can be zoomed in and out a couple of different ways.  The first method is to press the magnifying glass icon on the top right side of the screen, which  toggles between the default zoomed in/out views.  The second method is to double tap a location on the map, which has the added benefit of centering the screen to that location.  Double tapping again will zoom the map back out.  A third method is to use the pinch gesture, which allows a sort of in between zoom.

Once the map is zoomed in, you can move it around by flicking the screen, or simply dragging it.  Unlocked areas will show greater detail in the zoomed in view, and the main story (yellow jewels), side quests (multicolored jewels), and city of Baelnfor (access to Coliseum and Embassies), are all selectable by touching the appropriate icon on the map.
